If you were to get only one, get the original Cell solid. You can adjust the cover to different oil patterns.

Unless you have learned to understand what a PBA pattern is and how to play them, in general, (versus a House shot pattern)
OR
if someone has been badly misleading you about the type of balls or drillings to get, in general, (not just for a PBA pattern),
a new ball is not likely to help you.

Depending on your style, the original Cell is a great control ball for medium-heavy oil and possibly ranging from medium to true heavy oil.

Charlest is spot on.

Doesn't matter how shiny and expensive the arrow is if you can't fire it correctly.

thats what i'm having trouble a month ago. for some reason i can't roll the ball correctly i'm turning the ball rather than rolling it. started the pba shot a month ago. never bowled anything but house shot but its reall different. now that i've been practicing getting my release down and making the ball to roll. i'll do that this monday nite for my pba shot. also try to use my cell and rogue and play the outside shot and create that dry shot for me. That's also my problem have the equipment but afraid to use them cause too conscious about people talking why using that ball vs that ball. so my friend who gives a f### use it if you need to. its also confidence issue too. Don't now if all of you disagree with me or not. with so much practice been averaging over 200 this past month with one bad week didn't shoot 500 with high of 755 and just shot 697 subbing last friday. using cell pearl. by the way my equipments are all rotogrips

one ball will not make a diffrence on PBA shots.  will the diffrent patterns you must learn to play diffrent parts of the lane.  I certainly would not use a Cell on the cheetah pattern.  There is too much dry on the back end and the Cell would be burning up leaving way too many corners if you do manage to hit the pocket.  The PBA shots are all about making quality shots in the right part of the lane with the correct equipment.
