Pluto just drilled - what to expect !
« on: January 23, 2008, 05:25:05 AM »
Just punched a Pluto out last night, have not thrown a game with it yet. I
have the Neptune, had a Venus, and have a Staurn. From some off you staffers,
what should I expect. The info on the ball says 2 inches of flare, but from another local that likes Roto and Storm, he said it can flare quite a bit. Just want some takes on people that have used them.

Thanks,
Dan

I'm interested to see if this or the Saturn is a stronger piece?  I am getting one of the two drilled here soon, and want the weaker one

Also thinking of getting the Cell...just for S&G

Great ball flares about 2 inches for me, cover is strong and core is weakish. Reminds me of the Hot Wire i still have alot, which is also strong cover and the diff is .033.

I use it for spares and squaring up in game 3, for the price it is a no brainer to have this ball.

Stronger than the saturn, which was a little disappointing cause i was hoping it would be under my saturn.oh well a little polish goes along way.

The Pluto is the longest rolling solid ball I have seen.  Definitely not stronger than the Saturn unless the layout dictates.  Drill the Pluto max flare and it'll fly.  As with everything.
