I have had my Cell for about two months now. I took it out of the bag yesterday and noticed a curved crack that is about 3/4" inch starting at the pin. Should I be concerned and if so would this be considered a defect that would be replaced under warranty ? Thanks !

id say contact customer care at rotogrip
prolly could turn into a large problem
and since its early they might send u another ball

Yes be concerned. Take it back to the Pro Shop you got it from and he should be able to get you a replacement.

Storm/Rotogrip customer service is pretty good about replacing stuff like this. I had two Storm balls crack out from the pin at the same time, just a couple months after I bought them -- they replaced them no questions asked and I haven't had a Storm/Rotogrip ball crack since. I also had a Storm 3 ball streamline roller start to fall apart, they shipped a free replacement one out to me the day that I called them.

I actually had a side weight hole start chipping away from the inside on one of my cells. It eventually went from a hole that was the diameter of a dime to about the diameter of the bottom of a bowling pin. It was crazy, ive never seen anything like it and neither did my pro shop operator. But Roto Grip replaced it for me. Got brand new ball out of it.
And alot of times it all depends on where you live, when it comes to defects. Because if you live in the south or somewhere hot they will assume you left your equipment in the trunk of a car (which tends to make some balls crack) but if not, then its definately a defect.
