Cell Mini Review
« on: April 16, 2008, 01:39:04 PM »
Well guys I know I am late to the party, but I promised a review so here is most of it.

The Cell has proven to be a very versitile piece for me, I drilled mine to get a bit of length as I am a high tracking bowler.  It really has come through for me as what I wanted.  I was looking for a ball that would roll earlier than my Total NV and be able to be used more often than a typical heavy oil ball, which generally sit in my bag for months on end.  That is pretty much what I got.  On a house shot, the Cell is a bit more than I need, but suprisingly won't burn up and hit soft.  For a ball that rolls a lot it also has a ton of recovery in an arcing fashion.  Though it certainly does better with oil in the fronts, it can be used on lighter shots with less hand and a bit more speed.  I know this is a general review, but I can't go into much more detail as I have only about 35 games on it, I really like the look on the PBA shots, as the tighter nature of the shot, combined with the nice predictabale roll of the Cell, equals higher scores for me.  I have been very impressed with the Cell especially since my past experiences with Roto have not been the greatest as far as reactions go.

What was your layout on the ball?
