Having been given the go-ahead from Roger, I’d like to share with you my thoughts on this ball. Since BR doesn’t have this posted yet on the review section, I’ll use this forum to let the Kingdom fans know what’s coming.
I’ve been fortunate enough to test this ball most of the summer and have seen it on THS, Kegel Navigation and PBA-X patterns. Mine was drilled 5-1/4†X 45* with hole on axis left in box finish shiny. This ball rolls as smooth as the original and gets to the spot cleaner, and gives the “look†of kicking harder down lane - all of which you’d expect for a pearl version. The performance on the lane reminds me of how dominant the X-Factor was when it was released in 2002. That ball was easy to skid, always returned from the spot and never freaked out if you pulled it into the oil. The pearl CELL is very reminiscent of that ball release when you compare it to this era of bowling equipment and lane conditions we currently bowl on.
Dare I say…this CELL could be better than the previous CELL!! I know with as much success as I’ve had with the original that is a BIG statement, but I think it will be true. I can’t wait to get my “official†versions in October – this is going to be an absolute winner!
