Title: Cell Pearl Strikes
Post by: Krakken on October 29, 2008, 02:38:40 PM
Man this is a great ball.  I brought it out tonight on a house shot because the lanes where I bowl recently dragged an extra 2 feet of oil to the pattern due to complaints of how much it hooked. I had struggled with the extra length and was having trouble finding a ball to make the turn and finish strong.  The Cell Pearl took care of that.

I have had timing issues recently from dropping to 5 steps from 6.  Timing was right tonight and this ball flat out crushed the pins.  Didn't matter, light, flush, high hits, it was carrying.

I got lined up in the 4th frame of the 1st game and proceeded to throw the next 30 strikes!!!!

finished with last 9 in the 1st game for 248, 300 in the second and the front 9 in the 3rd game. Got the 1st ball in the 10th a little too wide and ended up with 265 for an 813 set.

What a great ball.  This will surely be the ball of the year.  2 gems in a row for Roto Grip.

Thanks to Mike Sinek for a great layout and fit.

Good job, my first game ever with the cell pearl was my first ever 300.
An amazing ball.

Congrats!

I was on the pair next to KRAKKEN last night. He had the pins flying everywhere.  The pin action the Cell Pearl creates is sick.

OH YEAH BTW he was rolling it really well as well.  Krakken has a tendancy to overthrow the ball at times and last night he was on time and on the money all night long.  I haven't seen anyone throw a 30 bagger in a long time it was fun to watch.

That's a great example of how impressive an 800 still is.  30 in a row and you "only" make it by 13 pins.  Great shooting.
