Title: Cell Pearl surface change

I want a little earlier reaction on my cell.  Not knowing much about changing the surface of the ball, what do you recommend to change the surface of the ball.  I.E., what's the best way to take a little of the shine off of the ball.  Should I just hit it with a scotch brite at home?  Or should I just bring it to my pro shop.

If you're looking for a little earlier read just knock off some shine with a scotch brite.  Not too hard, just enough to break up the shell.

If that does not suit you. I would take it to ur pro shop and have them take it to 4000 Abralon or 2000 grit US sandpaper.

Just to clarify, I suggest a fresh, light grey, Scotch-Brite nylon pad. It is approx 800 grit US. Use it dampened, by hand, GENTLY, LIGHTLY to haze about 1/2 of the shine off the surface.

If that doesn't work, then a 4000 grit Abralon pad on a spinner, WET, to redo the entire surface,
