Cell Surface?
« on: March 04, 2008, 08:22:43 AM »
I am just wondering if there is any kind of a consensus as to if the cell needs a surface adjustment for a THS and if so, what is recommended.

Thanks,
Lon

Ok, thanks.  I wondered if that would be the answer, but thought I would ask.

Yep.  Different rev rates, different speeds, different levels of oil on THS, different lines......  Way too much going on.  Just know that you can change the surface to suit your needs.

And it is highly recommended, since this fine-tuning is easily done and the best way to get the/any ball work for you properly if you feel any performnace deficits.

I can't imagine anyone saying the oob cover is too little hook.  The Cell is a hook monster.  I had to shine mine up to get it through the heads without burning up.

because not everyone has the same rev rate and ball speed and axis tilt, nor do we all bowl on the same oil pattern or the same lane surace. You shouldn't assume everyone does; that's why different people use different drillings and different surface preparations.
