What two balls would you pick for a true medium condition on AMF wood lanes, crowned house shot? This is how I would describe the fresh shot here.
I really don't need a heavy oil ball. I am thinking between a Nomad Solid, Nomad Pearl, HyRoad, or Riot for the benchmark to play the track area and probably a Dark Star to fit under that. Would these be good choices?
Right now a Brunswick Strike Zone is too much. An Original Inferno is about right.
And a Punisher is too weak. The Original was polished (too squirty) but I knocked it down lightly with a grey 3M pad about 1000 grit. It would probably be better with a Ruff buff finish as it gets a little slow on the backend when the lanes change. But they don't change enough to go to the Punisher.
Any help would be appreciated as this would be going to an entirely different ball line for me. But the Storm/RotoGrip lines look like winners to me and the pricing is reasonable. I take good care of my equipment but I don't want a ball that is going to die soon or that I have to resurface every 30 games either.
Thanks,
Mark
