Cell Surface Change

Has anyone changed the surface of their Cell from box finish (2000 Abralon) to 4000 grit and then polished it. I'm looking for a way to use the power of the Cell on a medium to medium/dry house shot.

I tried it at 4000 girt matte. Even without polish, with a 4.5" (pin) x 4.5" (MB) x 2.5" pin above midline drill, it covered almost every board on the lane. I cannot imagine using it on anything drier than medium oil, unless you have very high ball speed and 3 revs.

I drilled up a Pro CG Cell for THS. It is the first ball out of my bag every time. If you want a picture I can email it to you.

Polished mine, works well on a medium THS now--way too strong before polish.
