Cell vs. Virtual Gravity

Haven't seen much of either where I bowl but liked the look that Wiseman had at the masters yesterday during the first game (before he switched to rogue).  Anybody have a comparison of two and opinion on what might be better to take to battle for the oil at nationals?

From what I've seen and those who have thrown both, the Cell seems to be more midlane and a little smoother downlane.  The VG has a stronger backend.  They seem to cover about the same number of boards but in a different way.

I had a good reaction last year with a self-polished Cell with pin 6.25" x 25* from my axis.  I would have had a better reaction had I had the MB angle a little greater as the layout was a little too early and smooth.  My teammate, who finished 14th in all events, had an excellent look with his Cell box finish.  I believe it was 5" from his axis with the MB at 55*.  I think either would be a good choice but the midlane and control of the Cell matched up really well last year.  You may have to wait a while to see how the Rogue/Cell/VG are reacting this year once Nationals start.

The cell covers no where near the boards the virtual covers. The cell is a great ball in its own right, but the virtual was a ton more angular and had better continuation through the pin deck then the cell.. This was in my hands anyway!

I would agree with achappy.  I have had both and their reaction (drilled the same) were as he describes.  I think they hook about the same, but when then hook is the difference.  Personally I think the Cell is more continuous.  That ball rarely rolled out, while the VG does have its situations where it is not useful, when the Cell is.

imho the vg has much more recovery room than the cell. the cell , for me is very one deminsional. if i can get lined up with it ,its money ,but when the line goes it goes in the bag. the vg has much more overall hook and continuation thru the pin deck,more back end ,and more versatility. where i cant move left with the cell,the vg is a ball that i can open the lane up with.
