I really liked the reaction of the Rush, but I wasn't a big fan of the color! Do you think this would have been a bigger seller if the color would have been different? I remember seeing Peter Hernadez using this ball on tv! I would love to see this weight block again with the Grand Illusion coverstock, a hybrid cover, and a pearl cover! This ball had an incredible move at the break point! Thanks, Bruce
P.S. Maybe a Silver/Red color?

Mine was smooth as silk...that's what it's premise was, yes?
I think the ball came out at a bad time when there were more "advertised big hookers" from Roto out...it just got overshadowed.
Yes,...bring it back, ...would be a great all round THS benchmark ball...

For anyone who is interested, bowlingballmall.com still claims to have the Rush available in 14, 15 and 16lbs. I'm not sure how they are about updating their inventory, but it may be worth a shot if any of you really want to get your hands on another one.

Loved my Rush but I've moved down to 14" now and the Rush is a 15" so I don't use it anymore.. Got it from RyanRPS who is one of the guys behind the Solaris balls..

The Rush was a purple and an off yellow. Quite an unattractive ball, not quite ugly enough to be liked for that quality.
I found it to be a very rolly ball, much like the Ultimate Inferno. Needed a good deal of oil and rolled and rolled and rolled. Saying it an arc-like ball reaction would be praising it excessively.
I would have called it a very urethane like, old fashioned curve.

The rush is awesome.. I had a couple of long pin versions and they rolled GREAT! Think I might bring one to league tomorrow now

Loved mine.. Talked to Hank B. at a trade show, said they probably would have sold more if they had gone with a different color.. It was ugly as sin, but doesn't matter when all the pins fall down..
Great reaction on that thing..

The ball hit like it was rolling downhill...

I had one and unfortunately didn't know how "rolly" the ball was and thus put a layout on it to smooth it out. It was smooth alright...so smooth that it played patty cake with the headpin. Never experimented with any other layouts.
If anyone is interested, I believe I know where some are. I'm pretty sure there is at least a 16lb and maybe a 15lb.

Yes, personally I think it would have been a better seller with a different color. That was the sole reason I didn't buy one.
I have no inside info but think you are more likely to see the core from the Empire, an International Release by RG - check the RG site. Companies don't usually develop a new core then release it in just one ball. I would guess they are "field testing" a core we will see in the US.

For anyone thats interested I have a NIB 14# for sale. LMK if interested.

If my memory serves me correct, the Rush color was actually picked by ballreviews.com members. LOL. Received the most votes for colors, so we gave it a try. Ugliest ball we have ever produced by far, but I really enjoyed the roll.
Memory lane...

Roger, that is funny. Giving bowlers what they ask for.
There should be an application for bowlers.
1st question, do you complain a little, medium, or heavily.
Personally i like to complain heavily, about complainers.

Roger, how dare you to give us what we want or ask for! lol That goes to show that we as bowlers think we know what we want, but the bottom line is we never do! That's my point of my topics is to see what bowlers want or think they want. I have people come into my shop and say they want a reaction like so and so! I ask them if they roll it like them and they say no, but they still want the ball to work like theirs. I liked the Rush and the color doesn't matter to me as much as how it performs!Bruce

I simply LOVED mine. Used it until it was gone from cleaning and resurfacing, but looked for another for a while and never found one.
Now that I am not bowling much, notsohotshot has one the right weight for sale, but I can't buy anything now.
