One of our opponent bowled against us with the Rogue Cell the other night. He is a down and in bowler and a very consistent one as well. Most of his shots hit the 1-3 pocket but the surprising thing is he is left with many pin 10. He told us that he just brought the Rogue Cell and since it is new, it is too strong for the THS shot, it should be good after it soak a bot of oil...just wondering if what he has told us is true ? Thanks !

if he puts a little bit of polish on it, he will like the results very much. Thats what I did to mine and love it. OOB was way to squirty for me..

Don't believe the comment on the ball getting better the more oil it soaks up..

It sounds like they may not have been playing the lanes right. A little move left or right might have helped depending on what the ball was doing. I just picked up a Cell and Rouge myself. They are VERY strong balls. I too, left a bunch of ten pins while trying them out the other night. That was until I moved to about 5th arrow and found some juice. Once there, I carried quite well, as the ball was able to retain some energy for the back end. Many times people get a new ball and of course want to use it. The problem is it might not be the right ball for the condition. Even though this person was hitting the pocket, they were not carrying. It sounds like they were either lined up a little wrong or maybe should have been using another ball.

+1 I completely agree... I have a Rogue and a Bounty, they both play very well from the inside when there is a normal THS out on the lanes. There just wasnt enough oil for him to play a shot like that, so the ball was losing energy. With my Rogue, it seems as though I have to play the extreme outside angle or from the inside, anywhere inbetween doesnt seem to carry as well
