"additives" in the Mutant Cell Pearl coverstock
« on: September 27, 2010, 02:21:27 AM »
This question may have already been asked before but I haven't been around much in the last long while so I didn't know and I don't know if it's in the archives.

The Mutant Cell Pearl has what Roto Grip calls... the Cytoplasmic XLâ„¢ (Pearl).

The description on there website says that this coverstock is...

"Designed mainly for Medium Heavy to Heavy oil conditions. The XL version of the Cytoplasmic coverstock features additives to maximize friction (RA) levels while maintaining its superior durability and on-lane performance."

http://www.rotogrip.com/products/balls/coverstock/

So my question is... What is the "additives" in this coverstock? Are they anything like Mica or Particle or anything that may cause the ball to have early death for the fact of the "additives" being worn down or anything?

Thanks!
