Well Rymac according to the roto web site they say the following
"1500 Grit Polished:
Reactive - Use Storm's Reacta Shine with a 4 Step polishing process
Particle - Use Storm's Moon Shine with a 4 Step polishing process "
Reacta Shineâ„¢
Reactive Polish and Cleaner
One-step cleaner and polish
Safely cleans and polishes bowling balls
Restores that "tacky" feeling
Use with or without a ball spinner
Provides outstanding length and monster backend reaction
Finishes to 1500-grit
Hope this helps

You could get some 1k sand paper and sand it down then apply the reacta shine or extra shine to it and it should be close to the 1500 grit you want, or you could sand it down to 800 grit wet sand, then use storms step 3 and it should be right on at 1500 grit polish.

If your going to bowl...bowl for fun or go home

Since I'm fairly certain that Storm's (and RG's) "1500" grit is US/CAMI grade -
Make sure your 1k sandpaper is not "P1000" because that's 550 grit US/CAMI grade. You can also use 2000 grit Abralon. That's "P2000" (or 2000 grit FEPA) or 1000 grit US grade. OR you can use a Scotch Brite Light Grey nylon pad. That's about 800 grit US/CAMI grade.
