Critical
« on: March 02, 2016, 02:41:34 PM »
I just picked up a Critical and all I can say is wow! This ball is what I've been missing. Even my PSO was impressed with the movement. Hoping to put up some big scores in league tonight and hoping to cash in a big scratch doubles tourney this weekend!

I can only agree. One of the best looking balls i have had for a long time and i don't like asymmetrical balls.

I completely agree billdozer! Ball is a beast! The hitting power and carry were unreal! It looks really good going down the lane too. I'm very happy with it so far.

I find mine to be very nice.  Great push in the front while still having plenty of jump off the break.  my 205 average self has put a 258 on it in the first 4 sets.  If i can get out of my own way, this ball will do nothing but thrive for me.

On a side note too, this ball is the first ball i have ever owned that if i accidentally come around the side,or round house the ball, it will still carry.  normally this give me a stone 10 pin every time.   love the ball

Does the Critical's coverstock lane-shine very quickly?  How's the reaction change when lane-shined?

I make sure to clean mine immediately after I'm done bowling, but I do know a few guys that have had them deoiled around the 90-100 games mark. I'm still loving this ball and love how hard it hits. I've heard people complain in league that they can't get their balls to hook and I'm having zero issues opening the lanes up with the Critical.

I think he was asking if it picks up lane shine while use in league. Some balls have that going on while using and it alters the normal reaction a bit.
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta
Testing: MVP

Mine is good so far!  It has calmed down slightly in reaction, and is more useful.  OOB was almost too much backend!
