2k + Secret Sauce=...
« on: October 09, 2011, 10:58:26 AM »
success with Critical Theory.  After having tne CT for 6 weeks or so with the box finish and mediocre results, I took the cover to 2k abralon and light coat of secret sauce and wow what a difference.  I don't bowl many tournaments and needed something stronger than my Dagger to start on THS.

Due to my slower speed, medium revs (down and in bowler) and strength of the cover the CT wasn't hooking much at all (DOA).
Just some input for those of you that may be thinking of changing the surface...it made the world of difference (at least for me).
I was almost ready to give up on it..glad I didn't.  Good Bowling!

2nd best ever series 770 on a THS senior mixed league. It is all about the finish!

I've got several balls that I have tried a lot of different surfaces on and have had little success with dull equipment. I think to really get the most out of dull equipment you have to be able to have enough ball speed to keep from losing all the energy in the heads or have so much oil on the lanes that you don't have to worry about that problem.
