Unhinged
« on: March 14, 2017, 03:10:59 PM »
Just got my hands on a unhinged.  Was wondering what this ball would currently compare too.  Storm or roto grip line.

None of them. Unhinged was a love it or hate it ball. It got a lot of length, but seemed to lope too much

It either moved properly/consistently, or was over/under, inconsistent ball motion on the back, meaning conditional piece.

I loved my Unhinged for the first year or so I had it. Probably 50-70 games on it (I use different balls from night-to-night to change things up). Then the reaction really went away even with regular maintenance. Wiping the ball between shots, cleaning every night, de-oiling when needed, and also resurfacing. Hasn't been the same since. It's really over-under now.

Love my Unhinged. It is my go to ball when the lanes are a little squirrely. My drilling is simple 45 lable with pin beside ring finger and cg in palm. Nice strong arc.
