Not my favorite color combination, but it should definitely stick out. This one makes sense in the HP3 line. With the Haywire and it's 80H MicroBite/NRG Solid Reactive Nano coverstock that should still be stronger. The Hy-Wire and Dare Devil offer fairly different motions. Will be interesting to see this one compared to the Phaze II.

Personally, rolling better than a Phaze II will be hard to do, but I'm open to that!

I personally feel the Dare Devil rolls way better than the Phaze, so I dont see why the DDT wont roll as well or better than the Phaze II.
Will be interesting to see when it's released.

Depends on which Phaze you had, if it was the first batch, sure, but second batch or after were REALLY good.  It's unfortunate that people got an idea based on the first batch and don't know about anything after that.  No idea what happened or what the issue with the first batch was but man the rest after that were GREAT.  Very distinct difference in color and reaction.  Second batch and on were much darker, much more typical pearl looking ball, and it acted like it.

Daredevil Trick should be better than Phaze 2 . . my Phaze 2 gets weak and squirty when it gets some lane shine on it, requires a lot of surface maintenance.  The Trick hopefully won't have that issue.

I personally feel the Dare Devil rolls way better than the Phaze, so I dont see why the DDT wont roll as well or better than the Phaze II.

I got one last night, if anyone is familiar with the old Horizon Solid, it reminds a lot of that ball. It's not Disturbed good but more useable than the Haywire (Haywire for me was very Grindy and lazy down lane) i can circle the lane more with the DDT.

Happen to have thrown the Phaze II or Rocketship to compare to them? I'm definitely glad to hear it backends more than the Haywire as I just couldn't match up to that one.

Haven't drilled a Storm ball since that shit stain Optimus. Visually, it's less than a P2 overall and earlier and less downlane than a Rocketship. Again, that's a visual estimation.

That is correct. The basement is stocked with hyroads, IQ Tours (solid, fusion and gold) should storm stop the fluff and make solid equipment.

I'm looking at getting a solid ball for heavy oil. My no rules pearl is perfect for medium oil patterns but I struggle with it in heavy oil. I personally would love to pair it with the no rules solid but that price tag makes me gunshy for a ball that I could only use on certain conditions.

Would you consider it a solid enough ball to where it's good in heavy oil but is also affordable given it's lack of use?

If you are staying in the Storm/RG product lines, the PhazeII is a few bucks less, and since it is a symmetric with a very tuneable cover, it may be a good one to consider.  The Dare Devil Trick has a lower RG, so it would spool up faster, but less diff, so not as strong overall as the PhazeII. Also less spendy than the top of the line right now, and until we get to hear about it, you are guessing on this one. The Torrent is also less expensive, has a proven cover that is also very workable, and the ones I have seen roll pretty darn good. The RG in the Torrent is higher, so it wouldn't pick up nearly as quick as a low RG core, but it depends on your local situation about how much oil you need the ball to handle.
