help with layout for grenade
« on: December 27, 2010, 04:50:44 AM »
Hello everyone I just ordered a grenade off line and not sure how I should drill it was wondering what layouts you guys think would be ok. I'm left handed somewhere between a stroker and a tweener throw about 16 to 17 mph. I'm planing on using this ball at a house with wooden lanes with guardian heads and everything I have it just to much. Right now in my bag is a stacked reign of fire, a stacked evolve , a pin down reign , pin down black widow solid, and pin down black widow nasty. Thank you all in advance for all you're help.

Mine is drilled Pin below the bridge cg kick out a little. Turns out to be 5x4.
Makes the ball roll great, but I am a little bit rev dominate(350rpm/16mph). If you have a little less hand or more speed I would move the pin under the ring more of a (4x4 drilling).

Thank you for the replies. I do like that lay out a lot my reign and widows are drilled like that works great. My friend tells me I have a lot of hand but I dnt think I do I think its just the way I come around the ball but what ever it is I do makes the ball rev up more then the effort I put in it

Once the pin is pulled, Mr. Grenade is no longer our friend...

That is the pin distance on mine. Works great for a pin down. Keeps the cg around the middle of the grip allowing you to put an X-hole to help tune the ball shape.
