Furious vs Riot
« on: March 15, 2010, 04:22:40 PM »
I'm thinking of adding a medium strength solid to my bag to give me a smoother reaction off the back on a THS. I'm looking to use it when my Hyroad is giving me too much under/over.

I've been narrowed my search down to these two balls. What do you guys think the differences are between these two pieces?

A Hy-road with too much over/under? I thought that ball was the solution to over/under.

It is the solution if you knock the polish off and use a 2000 or 1000 abralon pad.

My Hyroad is currently at 2000+polish and serves it's purpose very well. However I have to put it away when the backends are too jumpy.
I understand that knocking the shine off the ball would allow me to use the Hyroad when the backends are snappier, but then it will not work as well in the spot I use it at the moment.
That's why I'm looking for another ball to do this job for me.

Thanks

You could always drill a ROF the same and take the surface up to 2000-4000.

Try tucking your pinky when the Hy-Road starts being over/under.
