Title: Dark Star vs Mars
Post by: Blindstag on January 29, 2010, 09:43:33 AM
Hi All,
I am dropping in weight to 14lb due to back & knee problems and have the opportunity to buy one of these balls.

I would want to get it for medium/light pattern. So for those of you that have seen/thrown both all things being equal what are the differences between the two balls on light/medium patterns.

Thanks in advance

Dale

The Dark Star appears to be made to drop dead center between the Mars and the Nomad Pearl.

I'm a staff member and I prolly won't even get mine until late this week or early next, so at this time you're prolly barking up the wrong tree for 411. If I were to suggest anything, email Viktor or Roger with Storm/Roto, they might be able to answer that question better. If not, shoot me a message next week and I'll give you more 411.

I will say this- I was begging for this sort of shell/core combination (in fact, I asked for this precisely in Septermber/October) in this price point. I really think these balls are gonna rewrite the standards for performance and value nationwide. Just my opinion. It is a lofty expectation, but it is my expectation.
