Bandit?
« on: November 11, 2003, 02:01:32 AM »
Who here has a RotoGrip bandit? Does anyone know what the core shape looks like?
How do you like urs? I like mine so far and carried pretty good in a house known for bad carry.

It came out in 94 and I believe it was a 3 piece ball.

I want to say Rags picked one up from someone around here...I remember talking with someone about the Bandit a few months back.  I have had good luck with the Grenade weight block...have the gold pearl urethane and wish they would being it back so I could quit scrounging the NIB stuff from way back when

Michelle,
Rags got an old Outlaw from me a few months back.... not sure if he got a Bandit too...  I have never thrown one, so I can't comment on the ball, but I did love the Outlaw...  I beat Danny Wiseman with that ball... hahaha

That was the transaction I was thinking of...oh well, maybe Rags won't be around to tell us about the Bandit

Still..if it is the Grenade weightblock, I liked it

The Bandit core looked similar to the core from the Blue Hammer, it may have been a bit taller and slimmer though.

Scotts This ball is no way a 3 piece..LOL..I mean ive had one ball carry very well for me and when i put a ball into my hands that i can feel i have the ability to string a lot of strikes and if the condition is right and im in the right mood ( good technique and all those factors) that i can throw a 300 with that is my thrash from track and i feel as if this is another..Carry is similar to this ball..Its just crazy..The first game i ever threw with it i had strung 6 strikes already..The roll is predictable and everything. If i have another chance to get a NIB or even a used one from my proshop i wont even think twice..
