To add to what Jeffrevs said,
On a pearl, it will generally give you more backend.
On a solid, it will generally give you an earlier start to the hook cycle.
In both, it will generally hook more than a ball with lower RG differential.
The actual amount of flare and the amount you will get with any ball will also depend on the amount you rev the ball (more revs = more flare), the dullness or shine to the cover (dull balls will flare earlier and more) and the oil amount and pattern.
