Title: Does the Saga get no love?
Post by: hellodjhjr on November 19, 2007, 05:50:34 PM: I may be somewhat late on this, but I cant seem to find much in the matter of posts regarding the Epic Saga. It's understandable that newer equipment in the Epic line, as well as other Roto balls have since been released... but still.

I picked up a couple of these off ebay for next to nothing about a week ago, and I'd be damned if I haven't gotten my money back and then some by winning pots while throwing this ball. Both drilled differently, one scuffed with a green scotchbrite pad, the other drilled weak with box surface. The ball is a beast! It keeps the pins low for me, carries the corners, and recovers from almost anywhere. The ball with the scuffed surface actually outhooks all of my other equipment. The box surface (with the way it's drilled) is perfect for when the lanes start to really break down.

I'm high on this ball right now, but as the topic says, where's the love?

Mine has definately paid for itself. I have been a fan of R/G's hybrid cover and the Saga surely did not disappoint.

I can't remember the pin to PAP distances on mine, but I do know that I hit it with 4000 abralon...I think. LOL But I haven't touched the cover since. I am too afraid that I will lose its marvelous reaction. Its one of RG's best releases in my opinion.

The ball is amazing...

and thats coming from me, a guy that was a sworn hammer/track guy. This ball is so nice that I had to get two.
