drilling a Silver Streak Solid
« on: February 08, 2004, 11:27:23 PM »
I picked up a used Silver Streak Solid about a month or so ago and haven't gotten around to drilling it yet.  However I'm going to my driller soon to lay it out and had a few questions so I figured I'd post them here.  I want to get this ball to compliment my Silver Streak Pearl which is currently my favorite ball.  The pearl is currently my "benchmark" ball, as I use it most often to get the best reaction possible.

My question is, since this ball does get a little bit of length, and a nice backend reaction, would it make sense to drill the solid up the same way, and expect it to hook earlier with a similar reaction in the heads?

Any info would be much appreciated.  Thanks much.

Good point.  I want it to be earlier than my pearl, with a very similar (though understandably not as much) backend reaction.  I don't currently have a solid reactive...last two I threw were the v2 solid and the shock trauma (i think i'm one of 3 people in the U.S. that hated the v2 solid).  So that's basically what I'M looking for, now i'm just inquiring as to how to get that.  Thanks much

How is your pearl drilled ?? This info will be our meter for determining how to lay-out the solid........
