I like to play down and in around 8-10. I am looking for a good dry lane ball that will still hold a similar line. I have low revs about 14mph on speed and have been looking at the Avalanche Slide (brunswick), Mars, and Vibe.
Any suggestions, Right now i throw a Sauce for med-heavy oil and then the G force Evolution, but looking for something under that.

Slide would be your best bet. vibes are far to strong and the mars would be a close second but i still think that would be a little much also a neptune would be a good choice but its all up to what brand u like.

i own the mars and i usually play 4th arrow out to second arrow so i bought a mars when my others burnt up too much
it is a great dry lane ball but will not do anything in the oil it also hits very very hard with great carry for myself

All depends on your concept of "dry". My teammate loves his Neptune on dry, but he also uses this same ball on all mediums, up to medium-hvy.
A Neptune, or Mars with the right drilling would probably be perfect for you.
I always throw someone else's pill first before I buy. Good luck.

I love my mars, but sometimes it's too much. Like MuncieBowler said, it won't do anything in oil but slide.

Tropical storm.
Get it drilled pin up. IT really gets down the lane and has a nice little snap to it.

If you are looking at a Rotogrip ball the neptune is your ball.. especially if you play up the boards and don't swing it alot.. The neptune will hold the line quite well.
On super dry the ball just holds and doesn't hook in the heads and the roll is very smooth.. get some oil in the heads and mids with a backend and the ball has a pretty snappy backend..
I guess that all depends on the drill and your rotation.
It definately doesn't like oil and will not hook in it , unless you have a ton of hand.
I have only used my neptune a handful of times but the times I have, it has scored well for me.. 10 in a row once on super dry lanes right up the 10 board.. was holding the line and getting to the pocket and crushing the pocket.. Another time it allowed me to play on dry lanes in a tourney when no one else could keep it on the right side..
The ball holds and hits super hard...
My drill is 5 1/2 pin to pap.. with the pin up above the bridge..

I agree what is your preference for dry lanes. I don't mind a weaker ball on heavier oil and is moderately strong on dry lanes. I used to Mercury for a couple of years or so and is fantastic on dry lanes but still may have to play very deep and forced to open up the lane without using a weaker release and works great for me.

im another supporter for the neptune, i love mine when the lanes are burnt up and it hits as hard as any other ball out there
