Pin Axis Drill on a Neptune
« on: June 15, 2007, 06:06:09 AM »
I'm thinking of drilling up a Neptune with a Pin Axis drill for a ball to deal with broken down lanes.  I have decent speed and a decent amount of revs to get the ball far enough down the lane for this drill to be effective on the intended condion (see profile) , but I'm thinking it'll help control extremely dry and snappy backends.  Anyone try this and if so, what were the results ??

I have a Neptune and I find it to be pretty controllable as it is.  I have slower ball speed and have had no trouble controlling the backend on this ball with a 5x5 pin up drilling.
