Mercury Rising!!!
« on: February 25, 2007, 06:44:23 PM »
My ball driller shot 300/805 in city tournament yesterday with a Mercury.  That ball gets a ton of length and stores so much hitting power at the break point it seems to carry very well.  I have never been a big Roto-Grip fan since my experience with a Sonic-X a few years back, but after seeing this ball hit I may give them a try in the future.  I am also impressed with the Saturn, as one of my friends who throws no-thumb and rips the cover off the ball shoots a Saturn and it gives him a nice hard arc, without the violent skid-snap, which can be deadly for high speed / high rev players.  Just my two cents, thanks!!

And thats just the Entry Level gear !!

And for many THS that's ALL you need.  Too many get swept up in HOOKMAINIA.  Out of their element crossing too many boards, etc.  RG has done it right.

Thanks Hank!

Exactly. Reference my earlier posts this month about using that old, tame-drilled, slightly oil-soaked Retro Resurrection. I'm scoring better than I have in two years.
