Neptune Queries
« on: March 12, 2008, 06:39:40 AM »
Attention Neptune owners and lovers:

I have 2 questions regarding your Neptunes
1) If you've hit your Neptune with a 4000 Abralon pad, what was the reaction like compared to OOB?

2) If you've hit your Neptune with a 2000 Abralon pad, what was the reaction like compared to OOB?

Thank you, that is all.

For me at 4000 abralon as compared to OOB my neptune still gets good length but it's not as sensitive to oil going down the lane.  The reaction is not as skittish when a little carry down shows up.  It has a little bit more arc and continuation when its on the right condition.  It can handle a little more oil at that surface but it is still a lite medium to dry condition ball for me.

The cover seems to respond well to surface changes.
At this point I haven't tried it at 2000 abralon.  So I can't give you an idea for that one.
I'm sure some will chime in for you with different surfaces.

That's exactly the response I was looking for, and I wasn't sure if 2000 or 4000 would give me that.  I find the Neptune to be awesomely mild, but a bit jumpy b/c of the polish.  I can safely say, I hate polish.
