Title: Eternal Cell
Post by: AlonzoHarris on January 31, 2017, 12:54:51 AM
You guys think pro shops can still get these in? I'm thinking I might have missed the boat on this well received ball.

Confirmed unavailable. This leaves me with the question...when will we see another strong asym core with a solid/hybrid medium oil cover? Maybe we will see a No Rules cored ball that fits this mold...

I think the best bet for something like that might be in the HP3 line. An eventual successor to the Critical maybe. There seems to be a trend of asymmetrical balls being matched up with medium(ish) strength covers lately but Storm hasn't totally bought into it yet. The Eternal Cell, Critical, and...? Just a matter of time before more come down the line though.

I am sure you can still find one somewhere. Do some research!

I wouldn't say the Eternal Cell was well received. Most people did not match up as well to it. If you can find one, I wish you the best. But why do you want an Eternal Cell?

I tend to match pretty well with stronger core/mild cover balls and figured this would give a nice look different from my Code Black. I'm going to test out a Rocket Ship instead now.

outside of the 2 handed showboaters, I think this ball was very well received. Its a great piece for fresh and med/heavy shots

I grabbed another one when I first heard it was discontinued. While it may be unavailable from distributors, I'm sure you can still ask around and find one at a larger Pro Shop or other stashes

I fall in the camp of having liked the Eternal Cell.  I did put surface on it and it's been a pretty versatile ball for me.  It was about the only look I had last year in Reno.....I've also brought the surface up to 4000 and used it on a THS at times.  Sometimes it's not the shape I really prefer but when it is it's a very very good ball.

I was contemplating between the Eternal cell or the Snap lock at season start. Snap lock won but I am still wanting to try the EC.  May just have to look for one.
Edit.....
Found one
