Has anyone noticed that Roto's never receive a bad review?
« on: June 11, 2006, 03:03:29 AM »
Have you noticed that Roto's never seem to receive a negative review? Is that cool or what! On this site the only bowling balls that seem to receive negatives of late have been The One and The Big One...and that for dying. Roto's rarely seem to have anyone complaining of that. I think I saw one review mentioning that for one ball, but still...that's pretty good I would think. This was just something I noticed. Hope Roto keeps up the good work!

i polished my oracle and have been striking with it ever since. i shot 267 with it the other day and thats the highest i have shot with it , i think, and i have had it since it came out. its def. easier to use on med. conditions . I am not expecting it to do something it cant,i.e.,hook in heavy oil. I think i just expect too much out of my stuff, but i am learning.

I still like my Silver Streak Particle it doesn't hook a whole lot, like it did at first but it still gives me great traction on longer heavier patterns.
For the first 75 games my RS-X was the best ball I've ever owned.  Now its pretty much dead and I take great care of my equipment.  It's the first ball I've owned thats died.  That's why I've been leary of returning to RotoGrip.

O,

You are the first that I know of that has ahd a problem with the RSX dying.  I have had one from the first week of release and it is still going as strong as it was otu of the box.  It has been cleaned and polished many times but I have not lost a bit of the sweet ball reaction.

What products have you been using to clean the ball?

99% of the time it's not a bad ball it's operator error or driller error and some one trying to use a ball out of it's element. I know I've done this twice and the last time is with my Battle tried to use it in a house where they just don't put out a shot that is conducive to that balls strengths even though I tried many cover stock tweaks. For me it is just to condition specific but if I can say one thing the battle just rolls down hill on the right condition I'm sure that nothing can touch it.
As for maintenance go to the Roto Grip site and use thier advice it is the best way to treat your equipment no matter the manufacturer.
