I really liked mine before it mellowed out too much. The reaction was pretty much what you would expect from the core - late roll and a lot of punch on the backend. The cover complimented that. Not particularly weak either. This was a step above mid-level ball for me. Just wish it lasted longer (and yes, maintenance was performed regularly).

What ball(s) would you equate it to in today's market?Eh... hard to say without having seen many in this mold. Maybe a White Hot Badger's slightly younger brother? It's not as much on the backend, but still potent.
If that's the case, I need a White Hot. I loved thtowing the Unhinged with surface before going to a Hy-Road Pearl.
It was basically the Roto Grip Hyroad for all intents and purposes.
