Boom!!!!! Snagged a NIB Theory for 135$$

So ya i was browsing Ebay and just snagged a NIB Theory for 135$.....

Now the big question is ...... to drill or not to drill.... I see other theory's on ebay at 375$ lol......

I mean the one i snagged the Pin/cg/mb isnt perfectly lined up, but i had a VG Nano with a similar pin/mb line, and it worked pretty well....

I know i was looking to get a ball that was a bit more for heavy oil / rolled a bit more, and would compliment my 811c/t..  but i can always polish up my 811c/t

Drill it eventually. The balls listed at $325+ typically are all from one shop in Hawaii.  Most are common enough to be found much cheaper on ebay.

They closed them out on Buddies for less than $100.  I don't think you got much of a bargain there.

If it was a Critical Theory, then I think you'd have something.  The solid Theory never seemed to get much attention...

Imback..  i had a Theory when it first came out, and loved the ball!!!!   it gave me such a awesome ball motion and the carry was sick!!  so much that for some reason i never bowled a 700 series in league in said yr ball came out.. 

but in two tournament on the usbc White and blue patterns, i shot 760+ with said ball in the 3 games of qualifying.... and after the cut, in both tournaments i rolled another 700+ series in the first 3 games of elimination..  So i easily made my money back...

only thing that sucked was said ball's cover split open in the off season.. :(  which could of been from the switch grip sleeve... 

I never did get to throw the Critical Theory, but have heard the ball is flipping awesome!!!

I love the entire line, multiple 300s, 830...for me more so than the cell line...I just don't talk about it cuz no one believes me...lol

Theory- my favorite solid Utah ball since the cell
Infinite- besides the new byte, this was the closest I had to a virtual energy.
Critical- most end of pattern motion I have ever thrown.  I can cover the most boards with this ball..very fun to throw, wicked strong

I love my Theory, got it from Roto Grip in a Twitter contest about 2 & 1/2 years ago.  It has been retired from regular league play, but I still use it for summer sport shot and take it to our state tournament.  For someone with lower revs / speed dominant it is a beast.  If I can not get anything else to read the lane correctly, I just pull out the Theory.  It likes to roll and keep rolling.  Awesome ball.
