New to Roto-Grip
« on: December 16, 2008, 09:46:36 AM »
Ok got me a Cell Pearl 15# 4oz. Top wt.2oz pin 3.5. Looking for advice on a drilling for those who know this ball. About my game I like to stand on 20 - 25 throw at 15 at arrows and hit 7 to 10 at the break rev it up pretty good 420+ and been throwing around 19mph. I bowl on synthetic lanes that have good backends and are oiled med at best.(its a nice shot for most). Throw mostly a Twisted fury(pearl) drilled pin down between fingers mb 45% at the thumb. Want this ball to go longer and still recover. Is the 6x5 the way to go? Please help!

The cell pearl is probably the strongest asymmetrical pearl rotogrip has ever made. A 6x5 would breeze through the heads the bolt off the back. It would be night and day different from your twisted fury pearl drilled pin under. What type of reaction were you looking for?

I'm man enough to admit I stroke with the left hand and it feels good.

Was looking for something to go long and recover strong. The Tf is good but if I get wide its has no chance to get to the hole.Guess what Im saying is Strong but not uncontrolable strong.

Also I track REALLY close to my fingers and thumb if I kick the CG and RG out to far Im afriad of hitting the holes. This has happened to me with Brunswick stuff.

Then you should be good. I had the same problem till I got the cell. The pearl is more angular. When the tf pearl is not making the corner you go to cell pearl. Smart choice.
