Based on the color scheme and RG/Diff, could this be the 2nd coming of the Defiant Soul?

Schlem said that was the goal in a couple of videos they posted on Facebook yesterday.

Now they just have to get on bringing back the Totally Defiant or something like it...

According to Schlem, that is the intent.

The Vision is stronger than the Sure Lock, which makes it the strongest ball I've ever thrown.  Whether that's a good thing for you or not, it's absolutely not remotely usable for me.  It's smoother than the PhysiX, but add like 3 or 4 boards . . it's just good old fashioned hook in a box.

Stronger than the Sure Lock in oil or on the backend?

Probably really really close on oil, within a board, two max, and more on the backend, so aggregate it's 1-2 boards more, so realistically it's a very small amount, won't be noticeable for most, but I've never struggled like this to get a ball down the lane, and when we're talking about comparisons to a ball like the Sure Lock, that much hook or even a smidge more is crazy.

What is the out of box surface? Roto Website says 4000 grit but Shlem quoted it as being 2000 grit during bowl expo live stream.

Hmm interesting that this is the profile this cover projects. I expected different. Less traction in the mids and more friction response.

Of course this might be one of those balls that’s nuts for me but everyone else loves it like the Super Son!Q. I can’t throw that stupid thing but it looks good for most everyone else. I can’t get the Vision down the lane either so I guess that means it’ll be popular . .
