Next Roto Grip release?
« on: December 29, 2009, 10:16:25 AM »
Just curious... what would you all like to see next?

Maybe a new line to replace the Planet Line... some new entry level balls?

Or something stronger?

I would love to see something similar to an EARTH (which was an overseas release) released in the U.S. That ball basically had the Neptune Coverstock with the Big Hit Core if I remember correctly. So it was a ball that basically would be a little weaker than the Neptune but with still somewhat of a "dynamic core" so to speak (not just a plain Pancake Block). A great "natural" step down from the Neptune if it was too strong on any particular shot!

Here's a link for the EARTH:

Thanks!

Why are people so consumed with what's coming out and what could be in store? New balls don't make you any better.

The only reason I ever really care what's coming out is, for instance... if I have a ball that I have been using for a while and it's worn out and in need of retirement. Sometimes that particular ball might be out of production and discontinued so it's hard to find another one of that same ball... so I am curious as to what may be coming out to replace a certain ball.

My favorite line's from Roto Grip has always been there ENTRY level stuff... from the SONIC's to the PLANET's.

Thanks!

I know I would like 2 see a fast in roto clothing. Maybe a little earlier. Everything is so aggressive and/or angular. I really don't see the extreme oil to throw the Mutant and being left handed, the backends really aren't clean enough to throw a Nomad or N. Pearl from deep like I really need. The lanes almost force you to play straighter but there isn't enough oil to get a strong ball to push. That's my wish.
Something like a solid dark side or slightly more aggressive Mars would be great.

I'm man enough to admit I stroke with the left hand and it feels good.

how about a pearlized urethane for late in the block, shorter patterns, and spare ball usage?
