Title: Has anyone taken their Epic Battle down to a 500 surface?

If so...did it help on oil to finish to the pocket?

I did once. It's a beast that doesn't quit.

Excellent for long heavy patterns.

I hit mine with a Green Scotch Brite Pad and thats about the only way I can get mine to roll up halfway decent.

My Battle is at 500 grit abralon and it is my mudder.  It grabs the lanes VERY early but if the oil isn't long enough it has a tendancy to roll out early.  Bottom line for me it was a good move as long as you've decided that you are going to only use it for heavy long oil.  On a THS it is too early, but on a longer oil pattern it is the best.
