How does it differ from the first one? I have seen two websites and one says it is a solid and the other says pearl, which is it? Bowlingball.com has it rated a little higher than the original neptune on their perfect hook scale.

It's an overseas ball: http://www.bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=3325. BowlingBall.com sometimes gets some from different manufcaturers. Generally it's not available to the bowling public in the USA.
FYI BolwingBallReviews says it's a pearl.

I have both and they seems the same to me. The coverstock is a great color contrast.
I cannot explain the difference ala the perfect scale but they performance to me seems comparable.

Thanks for clearing that up guys. I was just a little curious cuz bowlingball.com said it was just a reactive and bolwingballreviews said it was a reactive pearl. I am thinking about getting one a drilling it up real strong to compare it to my currently weak drilled Neptune.

Hello,
It will be a great compliment to your weaker drilled ball. My original Neptune is drill stable and the 2 is drilled stronger and the compliment each other well.
