Mystic above the Horizon solid and Hammer pain

I've read a few reviews on the Mystic and people have mentioned that they place it between the Horizon solid and the Odyssey. I would think that the Mystic would be stronger than the Horizan based upon its light particle load. I was thinking of purchasing one to put above my pin up Hammer pain. Any thought?

According to the Rotogrip ball chart it is slightly stronger

The Solid is good for medium with more carrydown while the RSP(what was replaced by the mystic) is good for slightly heavier with less carrydown.

I believe the ball chart assumes the balls are in box finish. So OOB the Horizon is going to be earlier and stronger because it's 800grit.  The RSP is listed as being stronger because it also comes 800grit but it has a higher diff and a light particle load.

Adding surface to the Mystic will put it in the RSP territory but with a different look (it then fits above Horizon and below Odyssey).

The Mystic will definitely fit above your Pain. The Pain is a strong solid resin (I believe it's solid) that has similar characteristics as the Horizon.  The Mystic will be stronger downlane.

The Mystic, with a strong-ish drilling, should fit over the Pain...but my one worry is that, due to the OOB surface, that the Mystic will get further down the lane than the Pain.  In my experience, the Pain rolls pretty early, whereas the Mystic makes a pretty strong (but controlled) move at the backend. Again, the total hook of the Mystic should still be more than the Pain...just be careful with the drillings and surface preps to make sure that what you want is what you get.

Thanks you guys have all helped. I have considered after the drill whether to change the surface or not. I have to pains, both with the pin up. One in box condition with the cg kicked and the other with a little polish and the cg closer to the palm. They work well in tandum. I am not going to redrill either one of them. So since I'm in need of a particle pearl to go in between my two pains and my Terminal velocity I'll drill the Mystic on the strong side and hope that it will take care of the heavy stuff my pains don't. I prefer to stay away from having to throw my solid particle until I have to. Naturally I'll try it in box condition first. Anybody have a suggestion on how to drill it? I was thinking about 4x4 pin next to and slightly above the ring finger. Thanks
