Horizon Solid VIDEO
« on: October 31, 2006, 06:51:08 AM »
Well, we have been a little slack over the summer months on the video front due to a fairly busy tournament calander, but we have been back at it, and first up is the brand spanking new, HORIZON SOLID.

This is just a sample video, so please watch out on the Roto Grip website for comparison videos.

The video shows the ball being thrown with Storker, Tweener, and Cranker releases.

I personally really like this ball.  I think it will be in my "permanent use" bag for regular use at the local bowl, and I found worked best whent taking a few revs off and playing a little farther right, and basicly "bouncing" it off any dry.  The ball is smooth but with a strong heavy roll on the back end, and I fount it to be very forgiving.  I also found it to be carrying pretty well.

Well enough woffle, heres the vid!

Which inside line Grandpa?

There's three people in the video - both myself and dave (RotoDave on here) were playing deep - the first three views from low are dave, then there's 2 from Phil, and the last 2 are from me.  Daves shot is in the region of 360 RPM and mine is in the region of 420.

The final shot is also dave (I thought it was spectacular )

Well to start off I'm happy to see you guys back on the set, pumping out more entertainment for all of us. My findings are similar: very strong heavy rolling ball with loads of continuation just no quit in her. I thought perhaps that after looking at the cover stock that with the deceptive pearl appearance that it would a bit more schnappy but as was suggested here it is not and I likey, will be in the bag always another fantastic weapon from ROTO!!!

Its not noticeably snappy, however, while throwing it I took out my Epic and threw one shot with it on the same line to the arrows, bowever supprisingly the Epic slid a bit longer and was archier off the edge boards!  I'l get that comparison on here tonight if possible.
