And not have a Horizon Solid or two in it?
To me, it is truly an amazing ball. I hear about how the Cell has "continuation" (haven't seen one in Europe yet) and I look at the Horizon Solid and think....that is the best word to describe how my 2 Solids roll. The pick up a roll early...make such a smooth, defined, move and never seem to not to be able to continue right through the pin deck. The hit hard, never surprise me, and are so predictable. The surface takes to changes so well, different drill patterns work well, and it seems I can make 100 release mistakes and these balls just ignores them and makes me look great.
To me, if you are RG fan, this ball has to be a prominent part of any RG arsenal.
Just had to state that..:-)
Thanks!
Mike

I have the SOlid, and I have to agree a truly amazing ball. I lucked into one last season when my RS-X was damaged by the ball return and Brunswick comp-ed me the Solid due to the discontinuation of the RS-X. This ball with the Mystic, and a polished Saturn gives me enough options to succeed.

Just got mine a couple months ago and love it, a very strong ball

True, the solid is a lovely ball, though i think the roll is very different from the likes of the Cell... I prefer the core in the Cell. It's like the original battle for me, i think of it being a "heavy rolling" ball, and that gives me confidence in the reaction... the roll on my HS isa little more "spinny". These descriptions arnt great I know lol but its how i often catagorise balls when i've thrown them! The HS didnt roll up as quick for me, and in such a strong ball i like it to roll up faster to get a smoother reaction.
That said, i havnt thrown it in a while, and i scored great with it when i did! Might get it out of the hallway cupboard for the weekend
where in Europe are you srlunatic?

Ryan,
Greetings!
I am over here in the western part of Germany. I used to live up in the UK too....lived in Bury St Edmunds down in England for 3 years and loved it there and was amazed by the great bowling!
I bowled the Irish Open, Welsh Open, and English Open quite a bit and am hoping to hit the English Open again this year.

I have a Horizon Solid and it hits like a truck.
Pocket = smash
Light hit = washed out scatter shots.
It's still 10 in the pit.
I'm actually thinking of forgetting the Cell and picking up another HS.

Solid 7 Pin?? 299 Game??!! WTF

I have seen the ball and it is very very very even for a reactive.
It looks great for non buffed tournament shots but not near enough for many leagues on the backend.
I guess a Horizon Solid combined with a Cell could be a pretty sweet combo!
