How do I clean my SSP ?

I've my SSP really soak in oil badly, can feel the track area with layers of oil. =]

I only have a bottle of Track Dull n Clean and storm Xtra Shine..

can anyone help me ? =]

If it has 50-80 games on it, use a maroon scotch-brite pad with Clean and Dull. USE A RUBBER GLOVE and follow the directions EXPLICITLY!

Then sand to 600, 800, 1000 and then repolish to the original gloss.

Unless your local pro shop has Ebonite's Hook Again system or the Rejuvenator, sanding with Clean and DUll is the next best thing you can do. You can also try Columbia's CPR system; I tried it but  then I didn't need that ball agan. SO, I can't comment on its effectiveness from a personal use standpoint. I am pretty sure, it's better than Clean and Dull by itself. The Clean and Dull method, by itself, won't do as good as job aa the other three, but it's much better than nothing.

Thanks..

Actually I'm just losing some of the hook over the ball. =] So I need to remove the oil that's all. But it seems really soaked in oil.. especially when I'm using that ball, looking at the awful track lines really turns me off. haha!

Well, whether it's oil or surface plasticizer is up for an unsettled debate by the ball companies or maybe it just differs with the different resins they use. I am not a chemist nor am I in their pay; so, I cannot say one way or the other, as to the actual cause. All 3/4 methods seem to help restore a ball's performance.
