Ultra Sonic for old-school spinner ?...Drilling ?

I'm looking at this ball for my dad. Hes a old-time stroker/spinner, speed about 9-10 mph and uses convential drilling (no grips or slug and finger all the way in the ball). Any ideas on drilling ? Should we just go by the full-roller drillings on the Roto-Grip website ?

If he is a spinner, why would you go by full-roller drillings?

Well looking at the finger holes, his track goes through the span horizontal, not vertical besides the fingers. Our local driller said this to be right ?

The ball he has now is a 1971 AMF Pro-Roll Classic Rubber ball...LOL

Well, if his track goes between the finger and thumb holes, you shouldn't call him a spinner, which indicates a very low outside track.

With his low speed, an Ultra Sonic sounds perfect, and, yes, you should use the full-roller drillings, since it also seems like he has a full roller's track!
