GRAND ILLUSSION
« on: November 13, 2008, 04:36:17 PM »
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys just wanted to post that I finally purchased the GRAND ILLUSSION last week. I used it tonight for the first time i shot 203, 256, 218 = 677. I started slow then i picked it up in the 2nd game. Then i kinda slowed down a bit on the third giving me a 677.

I had it drilled to go long and big backend. I"m a stoker so i was just throwing the ball nice and easy. i didn't want to do so much on my release cause it seems that i screw up. Speed was about 11.5 so i wasn't killing the ball either. I was just getting a good reaction.

I'm suprise how well i bowled tonight considering i don't have any track on it. The condition was THS but before we started lanes were oiled but then some guy was bowling on our pair. But before him don't remember if some people had bowled the same pair. Anyways it wasn't too bad.

I shot 835 with my grand illusion last night. 257-279-299  drilled pin below ring finger mb at about 35degree.  cover just knocked the polish off with 4000 abr.

I kept it oob didn't do anything with it the cover stock cause its still brand new. i was playing about 14 board out to 7-8 boards. I was letting the ball do the work rather than me making it to hook and it was rolling to the pocket really nice.  Even though i didn't bowl as great as other bowlers but the way i bowled last night was good for me. To be able to bowl good is to trust the ball and letting the ball do the work.
