With the price on this ball, the color, and "polished solid" not to mention, close to hyroad reaction but for medium light oil conditions... I have to try my hand with RG once more...

That's always what I thought, man, if this ball was a little stronger it would be perfect.  Well now it is and it's called the Hustle Ink.

cover and surface prep is everything these days....but its funny how it can change everything.

but

to be a homerun, typically OOB finish has to be widely accepted by everyone

Man, this one looks like it had a REALLY consistent shape on the lane for you. I like that. The comparison to the Hectic was nice too. You can see that one has easier length and less punch off the end. Which is fine, and might make those two a decent 1-2 punch for conditions that are generally on the medium side at the most.

Yeah, no matter where I was at on the lane, I had the same look with just a few physical adjustments.  It's not like when I moved right it flattened out or I had to get soft with my hand, I could still hit it when I moved right.  Had to get a handful when I got in, but it still pulled up with the same motion I had from everywhere else.

Luke,

Interesting look and review,  AND I didn't think you liked this core!

Is it the third solid cover? Do you think if a number scale was used this cover is so smooth a reaction off friction it might be in the 40s?  That is what my eyes seem to see.

Also on your Show Off review I see a movement like my 3000 grit Wipe Out. A strong smooth heavy cover motion.  Do you see similarities?

Regards,

Luckylefty

I know you asked Luke, but I see it being similar motion to the Wipe Out but the Show Off just has a significantly stronger cover

I actually do like the core, have always liked the core, it's the covers I hated.  This is the first solid cover that's been on a Hustle, they had two hybrids and two pearls.  At 2.53 .030, I like that idea for a weaker ball, smooths the reaction out because you really want consistency out of weaker balls, but doesn't go stupid like the IQ Tour core at 2.48 .029.  IQ rolls heavy enough to force you to use some angle to get it down the lane, but doesn't have the diff to get it to finish.  Hustle core allows you to play straighter, it doesn't force you deep and then make you have to force shape out of it.

SVstar answered the question just fine.  Wipe Out type look, way stronger cover.

I gathered that as well from the video. That isn't something I tend to like myself. The Haywire was very cover strong and it forces you in but then the core doesn't climb the hill properly or not at all.

Luke's video has me wanting one too.Ball looks like a hyroad reaction to me.I have a question for Luke. I have a wreck-em I have not drilled yet waiting on winter leagues. How close is the reaction between it and the Ink.

Miles and miles.  Wreck Em a good arrow stronger, if not more, much sharper move on the backend.  You'd be safe getting both.
