That's where I think the biggest deal is, it all sounds so scripted.

After awhile the same verbiage becomes redundant and easy to see,to most everyone on here

How would a Hy-Wire compare to the Phaze?  Are they comparable in strength or could the Hy-Wire be used as a drop down from the Phaze?

Not an answer to your question, but I really wish Roto/Storm would combine the two when comparing balls side by side

I don't have either a Phaze or a Hy-Wire but a couple of my friends have both and from what I have seen the Hy-Wire definitely picks up harder and moves more on the back. The Phaze is much smoother

I just had my Hy-Wire drilled, pin above ring, with cg lined up to pin.  Threw it last night
oob, and it does move off the dry, and it hits hard.  I have a Critical, and Hectic, which I think makes up a great lineup.

Roto Grip has the most complete line up! I love it. Just need a hyperesque solid back that doesn't suck like the menace..
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

I agree.  A strong solid really needs to be the next piece they bring out.  With that, they would be complete.

Watch some video.  The Hywire and the Phaze are about as opposite as two balls could be.

How would a Hy-Wire compare to the Phaze?  Are they comparable in strength or could the Hy-Wire be used as a drop down from the Phaze?

Whaaa??  The Menace is one of the best balls on the market . . it's been my go to choice for heavy oil until the Alpha came out.  No heavy oil ball has the backend read and continuation the Menace does . . sold tons of these and the people that bought them won't put them down . . ???!!

On our house condition (pro-anvilane) with kegel curve oil.

I used the same layout on a Phaze and a Hy-Wire. Both about the same skid through the heads, Hy-Wire pushes further down through the midlane, where the Phaze wants to start picking up. Hy-Wire has more backend motion. I have to use straighter angles through the front with my Hy-Wire and cover more boards, than with my Phaze, because of how the Phaze wants to read the mid-lane more.

tburky,

I have my Hy-Wire drilled with 4x4x3.5, and my Sky Rocket drilled 5x5x2.5. With the different layouts, on our house condition, both balls cover about the same boards, but the Hy-Wire shapes with a bit more hook roll through the backend as it revs up faster for me, compared to the Sky Rocket that is more rounded and revs up later.
