Fused is more consistent for me, meaning I know what I'm going to get every time out, it's just going to cover more or less boards depending on volume, Intense is either a monster or absolute garbage, but man when it's good, literally nobody in the house has a better look. Fused on the other hand needs the polish knocked off, it's so aggressive that it forces me really far left to get the ball down the lane, but it's so clean that sometimes it goes a little too long or gets too wiggly. I generally don't like balls that sharp on the backend, but this one is so consistent that I think if I can just trust that it's still going to pull up when I get firm with it, it should be better. Generally balls that are that sharp can be late and flat when you get firm with them, Intense isn't like that, I can get inside of it and just fling it right and watch it "climb" back up the hill, and it's got a different motion that doesn't bleed energy as fast as a quicker transitioning ball so it kicks out most of the 10s that sharper balls leave on those half pocket hits.
On the other hand, if there's too much friction, the Intense pukes everywhere. Fused just hooks more. I would pick the Intense despite its drawbacks because it's so good when it's on.
