Illusion VS Storm Products

Really, this is a several question post.

1) How is ultimate vision cover compared to R2 Coverstock from storm?

2) How would this ball compare to similar storm offerings such as the Sure Fire?

My impression is that the ultimate vision cover provides a bit more traction later down the lane than the R2S pearl.  My impression is that the cover is a bit more "beefy" easier length but stronger later.

To anticipate a future question and comment Storm and Roto Grip covers have different chemical make-ups.

I wouldn't call the two similar unless you shine up the Sure Fire or take the cover down on the Illusion.  Not to mention the Sure Fire is a hybrid cover which will provide a little bit earlier reaction than the Illusion.

I understand, just trying to compare to the newer stuff. The T-road pearl doesn't appear to have as strong as a core as the Illusion. I think a proper comparison would be the Illusion to a V-twin core wrapped in R2S pearl, which hasn't come out yet. I'm sure that will be the next iteration. I am just looking for something that has the same amount of length as my fired up but stronger on the backend.

DJ - If your Fired Up is not reacting enough at the back...wait, let me stop chocking...I'm going to lean towards you drilled it to weak to achieve your desired reaction out of it. I have had 2 and strongly considering a third while I can get my mitts on one. My 5x5 FU was the strongest down the lane as the 2nd one I punched 5x3 to force it to react different.

Strictly by the numbers, a Fired Up is going to have more punch at the end of the lane then an Illusion by the numbers. I have liked what I have seen of the Illusion to date, looks like a real nice piece.
