I got mine punched up on Friday.  I spent a lot of time considering a layout for it.  The original Epic was money, but the Odyssey for me was awful.  Both had the same layout.  The biggest thing for me was to make sure I didn't drill this too strong.

I finally decided on a 4.5 x 4 with the pin 3.5 above the midline.  This put the pin above my ring.  The pin to CG was a tad short so we went deeper on the fingers to get it back to 3/8 finger and 5/8 side.  No weight hole yet.  

I did throw it on an abused house shot for a couple games.  Not nearly enough oil here, but I just wanted to use it.  Today I used it in a tournament for qualifying.  I started off targeting 12-13 at the arrows while standing on 30.  I had all the room to the right I wanted as long as I was very firm with the speed.  I decided to look for some more oil in the middle so I moved to 36 targeting 16.  This was an even better look...still had the lane to the right.  At this point I was 12 or so boards deeper with my feet than anyone else on the pair.  I honestly could have gone left even more and probably should have.  I finished with 700, missing the cut by 3 pins.

There are a couple balls I have owned in the past that just gave a different look than anything else.  The Uranium pearl comes to mind.  The Cell is also different.  It revs up incredibly fast off your hand.  Normally this could cause some trouble with such a strong core and cover.  But with this ball, it doesn't matter because it just won't stop coming.  I honestly didn't expect it to read the mids so well AND make such a strong move off the spot.  It's about as strong at the break as a "rolly" ball can be.  And then to have the continuation on top of that?  I can't wait to get some more games on it, especially on the PBA patterns.  This ball is special.
